  I've been going to Eastman for dental care for my entire adult life — the last 45 years — and have always been happy until recently. My complaints are, first, that more and more lately the the dentists and hygienists speak English very poorly and I cannot understand them. Also, they seem to be pushing treatment more than in the past. Not sure everything they push is necessary. Finally, I have had three dental implants fail. Perhaps the first two were no one's fault, but the last one, the crown was placed very tight to the tooth next to it. I complained to the periodontist and he said it was fine. But it failed within a month. Now I am undergoing having it redone. I thought it would be free, according to one of the longtime faculty, but I just got a bill. NOT happy! No. The bill was a mistake. It is being done for no charge. I will keep going there. I believe their fees are lower than private dentists.
