  13 years ago we decided to change the kitchen counter tops to granite. We went to many places in Rochester and decided on this place, not only for the price, but also the selection, as well as the helpfulness and openness of the staff.
  
  They took us to the "display" area for granite where we saw gigantic pieces of stone of all kinds of description. Each slab was more breathtaking than the one we just looked at. Making a decision was difficult, but the price differences helped.
  
  They took measurements of our sink, etc. and when the day came to install the granite that we picked, we were excited. This stuff is heavy and they huffed and puffed to get it into the house and on top of the cupboards.
  
  It looked beautiful 13 years ago (2002) and it still looks beautiful today. Ours is a coffee colored granite with deep shades of brown and lighter shades of brown and yellow glowing areas and blue glowing areas and green glowing areas and white glowing areas. It's a horrible description, but because the colors change as you move around the counter, or bend over or get on your toes, we're never tired of looking at it.
  
  Currently, we are looking at porcelain tiles to redo our foyer, kitchen, pantry and laundry room. About 422 sq. ft. We've looked at other places - some with lower prices - but Atlantic has the goods, so we're buying from them again. If you're thinking about marble, granite, ceramic, or other hard surface, be sure to check them out.
